film 29 february (2? 29?; iwol isibguil) bercerita tentang seorang penjaga gerbang tol bernama ji yeon. Selama ini ji yeon menjalani kehidupan normal miliknya. Awalnya ji yeon sama sekali tidak berminat untuk menjadi seorang penjaga gerbang tol. Namun setiap harapan yang dimiliki oleh ji yeon tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan yang terjadi dalam hidupnya. Semuanya diawali dengan ji yeon yang sebenarnya memiliki impian untuk bisa mendapatkan pekerjaan yang lebih baik. Namun apa daya, ji yeon tidak memiliki pendidikan yang tinggi. Hal tersebut tentunya membuat ji yeon kesulitan untuk bisa mendapatkan pekerjaan seperti apa yang ia impikan. Hingga kemudian ji yeon tidak memiliki pilihan selain bekerja sebagai petugas gerbang tol. Awalnya semua berjalan seperti normal dan juga seperti seharusnya. Namun ternyata hal tersebut tidak berlangsung untuk lama. Semuanya diawali ketika ji yeon mendengar sebuah mitos yang selama ini beredar. Mitos tersebut adalah bahwa tempatnya selama ini bekerja ternyata dihantui oleh sesosok arwah penasaran. Dimana arwah penasaran tersebut hanya akan bangkit pada tanggal tertentu. Tanggal tertentu tersebut adalah tanggal 29 februari. Karena sudah dipastikan pada tangal tersebut, akan ada banyak kejadian mengerikan di gerbang tol tersebut. Awalnya ji yeon sama sekali tidak percaya dengan mitos yang beredar tersebut. Karena ji yeon menganggap bahwa mitos tersebut tak lebih dari sebuah tipuan belaka. Namun segalanya berubah ketika ji yeon mendapatkan tugas untuk menjaga gerbang tol pada tanggal 29 februari pada malam hari. Dan tidak perlu menunggu waktu lama bagi je yeon untuk segera merasakan keganjilan di tempat tersebut. Dimulai dari lampu yang sering mati, udara yang selalu dingin hingga puncaknya adalah ketika ada sebuah mobil misterius yang memberikan tiket penuh darah pada ji yeon. Dan hal paling mengerikan dari semua kejadian tersebut adalah rekan kerjanya ditemukan dalam kondisi sudah tidak lagi bernyawa.
