Kolonel Kim Jin-Pyeong (Song Seung-Heon) merupakan seorang perwira tentara yang baru saja tiba di Korea setelah menjalankan tugas di perang Vietnam. Ia pulang dengan titel sebagai pahlawan perang. Keahliannya dalam perang sangat dihormati oleh Komandan Angkatan Darat sekaligus ayah mertuanya (diperankan Jung Won-Joong) dan hampir semua orang di pangkalan militer. Hanya saja tidak ada seorang pun yang tahu bahwa Jin-Pyeong mengalami trauma pasca perang.
